You have 3 months to appeal an unsuccessful Overseas Networks & Expertise Pass application, but you should do so only if you can address the rejection reasons.
When to appeal
You should only submit an appeal for an unsuccessful Overseas Networks & Expertise Pass application if you can address the issues in your rejection advisory. There will be no change in outcome if you submit the same information in the appeal.
You need to submit your appeal within 3 months of the rejection. Otherwise, you will have to submit a new application.

Who can submit the appeal
The following parties can submit an appeal:
- The candidate
- Employment agent acting on behalf of the candidate
- Employer acting on behalf of the candidate

Authorised employment agents must attach a signed authorisation letter stating that the candidate has authorised you to submit an appeal on their behalf.
How long it takes
Most appeals will be processed within 4 weeks. We will send the outcome to the email address provided in the original application form.
